The Beginning of a New Chapter!

Stepping off the plane, on a rainy afternoon, on May 7th, 2010 was one of the most nerve wracking things we've experienced! Jonathan and I were in a new country, new surroundings for both of us! We were so overwhelmed from all the signs in japanese and the face we were on the opposite side of the road in the car! There was so much we had to get used too! We made new friends the first few days while here! I knew Dora and Sam already through Brittanie but Jonathan hit off well with them! Also we became fast friends with our sponsor and his family! Well lets fast forward a couple weeks. It's now May 25th, 2010 and we're now living in a spaceous two bedroom apt overlooking a beautiful view of the beach! Jonathan and I have both eaten sushi! (I love it, he's still getting used to it) Jonathan has tried curry and loves it! I haven't tried it yet. We're also still trying to get used to using chopsticks! We are both getting used to driving on the other side of the road! Jonathan has been getting alot of practice since he drives to work now and I will be getting my car tomorrow. We are enjoying our time here and we plan to do lots of traveling! :) I hope to keep you guys well up to date on our life here! We miss you and love you all!
